    Hi @Googlyeyes

If you want the easy option goes with an addon, yes they are working great for data

If you want to get the cheapest buy an eSIM

Hi, it depends on your needs and where you are going with your roaming.

The data from Fizz is correct for normal use, but you have to compare the costs.

The add on, if there are 10 days left on your current payment cycle, your Add-On will be valid for approximately 40 days.

My recent experience: I bought travel data add-ons for Latin America (Zone 4) for my and my wife's Fizz lines, and they didn't work for the entire week I was there. We had no data access. I also brought a Bell phone (work phone) which roamed fine including data on the same local cellular network. I briefly tried chatting with Fizz's support chatbot but couldn't get past it to chat with a real person; it kept asking me to "Ask me using other words". At that point, I didn't want to waste any additional family vacation time dealing with this, so we just used the resort's WiFi which luckily was very good. I plan to ask for a refund of the 2 travel add-ons now that I'm back home in Montreal.

All this to say, in response to the OP's question, I would highly recommend getting a local ESIM plan over anything with Fizz unless you enjoy wasting time on your vacation. That's what I plan to do for all future travel. Fizz doesn't offer voice roaming except in the U.S. anyway, so you're not missing anything by getting a local ESIM in Spain.
