I was afraid thinking I could found several snakes running under my bed.

When I was a kid, my mom told me that shaking a can of soda would make it explode. I always thought it meant a dangerous, bomb-like explosion and handled cans very carefully. Then I saw a kid shake a can vigorously at summer camp on purpose and realised the explosion was just a strong fizzy soda stream erupting into the air!

I thought there were sock eating gremlins, my mom always blamed stuff getting lost on them. I never believed in Santa Claus or tooth fairy but it took an embarrassing amount of time for it to sink in that the sock gremlins don't exist.0
