How to factory reset CODA-4680-FIZ

I forget my CODA-4680-FIZ password to access the admin page and I still can get connected even after a reset (pressed Reset button for 20 secondes). I configured a second private network and it still present after the reset. Can you please help me factory reset the device ?

    It seems that you follow the right procedure which is:

    To perform a factory reset on your Hitron CODA-4680-FIZ modem, follow these steps:

    1. Using the Reset Button:
      • Locate the recessed RESET button on the back of the modem.
      • Using a pin or paperclip, press and hold the RESET button for at least 10 seconds.
      • Release the button; the modem will reboot and return to its factory default settings.
    2. Through the Web Interface:
      • Ensure your device is connected to the modem via Ethernet or Wi-Fi.
      • Open a web browser and navigate to http://192.168.0.1.
      • Log in using the default credentials:
        • Username: cusadmin
        • Password: The Wi-Fi password you set during the initial setup.
      • After logging in:
        • Navigate to the Admin section.
        • Select the Device Reset tab.
        • Click on the Factory Reset button to restore default settings.

    Try to repeat, probably you didn't press correctly

    If you've attempted these methods and the modem still doesn't reset, it's possible the reset button isn't functioning correctly. In such cases, contacting Fizz customer support for further assistance is recommended.
