New iPhone with NO sim port

Hi
Just got a new iPhone 15 that doesn't have a SIM port so only esim is an option.
How can I convert my actual sim card on my old phone to an esim to use the same Fizz number on the new phone? And if not possible, what is the easiest way to keep the same phone number?
For now I only see the painful choice to close my current Fizz plan and open a new account to get a new number with esim option available. Does not answer my needs to transfer same phone number...

    Hi @brunosch

    At the moment, Fizz allows activating only a new plan with an eSIM.

    Therefore, if you already have a plan with a physical SIM, Fizz does not currently support converting it to an eSIM.

    You have two options:

    1. If the number is not important, open a new plan—either in the same account or a new one (to take advantage of the referral code).
    2. Transfer your number out for a few hours and then port it back—either to the same account or a new one if you want to use a referral code.

    Hi your iPhone is US model. Canadian model have a Sim slot.

    Fizz does not support SIM to Esim transfer but you can transfer your number to another provider that supports this option. Once your number has been transferred to ESIM, you can transfer it to Fizz.

    Providers usually offer a free trial time. Read the options carefully.
