Hi, I am currently in Europe and did not use my Fizz SIM card for a few months. I cannot remember my sim pin anymore. What can I do?

    Hi @Theresa

Did you try 1234 or if you locked use the puk if you locked https://fizz.ca/en/faq/how-do-i-use-puk-code-to-unblock-my-sim-card

To unblock your SIM card right away, log into your Fizz account to reveal your PUK code (My Plans > Manage > Unblock SIM card). Type the code that is revealed into your phone.

If you entered 3 incorrect PIN codes and your phone displays “SIM card blocked” or “Enter PUK code”, your SIM card has been blocked to ensure your security.

To unblock your SIM card, you must enter a PUK (PIN Unlock Key) code.

My Plans > Manage > Unblock SIM card). Type the code that is revealed into your phone.

    1. Log into your Fizz account and go to My Plans.
    2. Click on Manage and then Unblock SIM card.
    3. Click the slider to reveal your PUK code.
    4. Type this code into your phone to unblock your SIM.

If you have access to the Fizz website, look up your PUK. You find it under My Plans → Manage my plan → Unlock my SIM card. After you enter your pin incorrectly three times, your phone should ask your the PUK code and then allow you to set a new PIN.

I found it , it was in the internet section and not in the phone section. I will try this now.

This is not working because the PUK has 8 digits and I can only type 6 digits. What do I do now?

If that is the case, are you sure you are talking about the sim pin and not your phone's unlock code? PUKs are standardized, they are always 8 digits. There is no way, your phone would get that wrong.

If you have access to another phone, try in move the SIM card over to that phone and see if the SIM card registers then. If it does, it is not the SIM pin, it is some other security mechanism on your phone.

Strange for me is on my mobile section, what phone are you using since the PUK must be 8 digit long

Are you using an old samsung?

it worked now, all good but unfortunately, there is no roaming in Europe

You should have access to roaming. Text messages are $0.03, you only need to add money to your Fizz Wallet. Incoming texts free. There also are data add-ons, 250 MB, 500 MB and 1 GB. Between $5 and $10.

The only thing you can't do with Fizz Roaming is make or receive calls.

In Europe you can only buy an addon for data

The outgoing text message can be pays as you go, however, this can be done only using a Fizz's wallet, but the Fizz wallet can be bought only in Quebec and Ontario province
