Traveling to Saint Lucia, can I forward my number to a number in Saint Lucia

We will be going to Saint Lucia shortly. I was wondering if I get a SIM card with a local number from Saint Lucia can I forward my Canadian number to the number in Saint Lucia.

    You can, but you would be paying long distance for a call from Canada to Saint Lucia. So, consider carefully if it is worth it.

    Yes, you can, but you need to purchase an add-on to call numbers in Saint Lucia from Canada, or add funds to your Fizz's wallet.

    Alternatively, you can use an app like Fongo, TextNow, or another similar service that provides a Canadian phone number and allows call forwarding. You’ll be able to use it over Wi-Fi, or you can buy a travel data add-on for mobile data access.

    A good way is you can get a free phone number from www.fongo.com, then you can forward it to your current phone number. And it is totally FREE!

    Actually, I have to correct my previous posting.

    Call forwards to foreign numbers are not possible. The network refuses any attempt to set it up. Only call forwards to Canadian numbers work.
