voicemail greeting if somebody calls they can modify their message...

Hello,
I am still new to Fizz. So far so good. Yesterday an older friend was calling me and it went to my voicemail. After my Greetings a computerized voice said she can leave a message and modify her message by pressing pound. My friend got so confused and hung up.
And sure enough when I called my number going to voicemail.. my greeting was fine .. then a voice said after you leave a message you can modify your message by pressing #.
Is this normal ??? Or can I somehow delete this voice..

yes the voicemail is asking if you want to modify the message that was left or if you want to redo it
It is like to ask if you don’t like the message that you left you can make an other
