Receiving calls from Canada while traveling

Hi all,
I am currently a Fizz subscriber in Manitoba. I am currently travelling abroad (Vietnam to be exact) and I am not sure if I would be able to receive calls from Canada to my number (which is still active as my phone is duo SIM). Since Manitoba subscribers cannot use the wallet feature, I already bought an International Call Add-on for Vietnam. Of course the Canadian number automatically "roam" via a local network, but because I didn't subscribe to the roaming service of the local network, I don't know if the add-on would be sufficient to receive calls from Canada.
I am pretty new to this so I really hope someone can explain to me. It's just that I'm expecting an important call so I really want to work this thing out.
Thanks a lot in advance! Cheers!

HC’est @Harold
at the moment fizz doesn’t offer this service outside Canada and USA
What you can do, download and app such Fongo or TextNow for example, this will give you a Canadian number and you will be able to forward your call to that number ( the function must be enable le I under your coverage zone) after you can use that application using wifi or buying a fizz travel addon for data
Here the guide

If I am not mistaken, Fizz doesn't support calls in international roaming other than in the US. Just data and text messages.

I don't think it's supported.

Just to add to the above comments, the add-on for Vietnam which you bought is for calling Vietnam numbers from Canada (from your coverage zone to be more precise).

I would recommend reaching out to Fizz's customer support directly to ensure that your account is set up correctly and that there are no other issues that might prevent you from receiving calls from Canada, including the important one you are waiting to receive

Hi @elena code xzi4t, thanks for the recommendation! Just want to clarify, does that mean I have to be physically in my coverage zone (i.e Manitoba) in order to enable the call forwarding service if I use Fongo or TextNow?
