Suddenly no Internet. Any way to speed up technician visit?
My home internet randomly stopped working. I went through all the troubleshooting steps, no help.
I contacted Fizz support and they still haven't gotten back to me. Is there a way to just request the technician? Wil the technician come with a new device?
Any other troubleshooting ideas besides what's on the website and the app?

hi @brainwash
you can try these steps:
- Restart Your Modem: Unplug the power cable, wait for about 30 seconds, and plug it back in. Allow the modem’s lights to stabilize.
- Check All Cables: Ensure that all cables, including coaxial and Ethernet, are securely connected and not damaged.
- Factory Reset Your Modem: Use a small object (like a paperclip) to press and hold the reset button on the back of the modem for about 10 seconds. Note that this will erase any custom settings on the modem.
If none of these steps resolve the issue, staying in touch with Fizz Customer Support is essential to confirm your appointment and explore alternative solutions.
Probably you contact the by Facebook, try to chat with them

There's no way to speed up a technician visit. Did you contacted fizz via chat? Your modem or router stopped working?

There is a breakdown in an area, you may be affected. See with your neighbors if you can who have the company in yellow. You can also ask the support.

Like I said, I followed all troubleshooting steps already, and I contacted Fizz chat.
They told me there is an outage in my area. I wish they would show this information in the outage page, it would have avoided wasting time troubleshooting and trying to reach a technician.

Good idea to check the outage map in the area first.
