VoLTE and global phone
Hi, I’m looking in buying a new phone and the Galaxy a55 really catched my eyes. I know it’s not sold in NorthAmerica, therefore I can only buy the « Global » model. I see a lot of different comments on wether or not it will be supported by fizz or not. Google says it is certified VoLTE but will it be supported by fizz.

This will be risky since I read user having a phone certified but the model was for South America market and it was not working their VoLTE.
Therefore, I personally not take a risk, check here probably you can find a very good opportunity

It is not on the list of supported VoLTE device by fizz. So it might not work.

If the A55 is not Fizz VoLTE certified you could perhaps go for the A54, it is in the list of Fizz VOLTE certified devices
In terms of the Kimovil score it is quite similar I would not risk going for the A55 if it is not Fizz Volte certified

I would like to reiterate that the phone must be on the Fizz VoLTE list, and the model must be for the Canadian market if you want to avoid problems. Then the phone can work if it is from a different market, but you don't have any gurantee.

Better to go with the phone in the support list. There are quite a lot phones in the list.

For other phone it probably work with 3g and it end of 2025.

Indeed, it is better to go according to the list of certified phones by Fizz it's less trouble
