Where can I find Fizz' firmware update changelog?
Where can I find Fizz' firmware update public changelog specifically for CODA-4680?
Fizz pushed an update 7.2.4.5.2b8 on my router CODA-4680-FIZ which enabled DOCSIS IPv6/Dual by default a few months ago (Around October if I recall correctly) and I haven't received any notification regarding this. It crippled my home network with this change and I had to use passthrough mode with my own openwrt router for months.
I cannot find anything under Official Fizz communications or anywhere on Fizz site.
I just had enough time now to resolve this problem. It would be very helpful if firmware update changelog is available and maintained publicly at the very least. Would be even better if we can receive notification somewhere (either as email, or notification in my account) if we subscribe to it.
Thanks and happy New Year

Hi @Jerry02
As you stated, Fizz doesn't give the opportunity to modify the firmware
Some users will tell you to contact the support, but I believe that you will not get any useful information in this mater.
Sorry

I think you misunderstood my question.
I have no intention to modify CODA-4680 firmware. I merely wish to have changelog when they push firmware update.

The same answer will apply, I don't think that you will be able to find it, fizz use a modify version of the original firmware.

Hi, This is the disadvantage of modem routers provided by Internet providers. We don't have any details. When it's important enough with a lot of configuration, having your own router allows you to keep up with your evolutions.

The update is carried out by the Fizz technical teams remotely, no intervention from users is necessary nor information given at this level.
