Trying to gift data but unsuccessful!

I tried to gift data to 8 different people and each one didn't work. The message I got was that the person doesn't have enough data on their plan. Well that's why I wanted to help them out! Anyone else having this issue?

You can only gift data to someone that has a plan that include data. Otherwise you will get this message. Also you can only gift the data of your current month so that might be why your are not able to gift data.

Are you sure that you have free data of your current month to gift?

You can only gift the data of your current month, you cannot gift rollover data or data from a perks or data from a bonus for example

Thanks for your responses. Darn it! I have 48 GBs that will be gone tomorrow and I won't be using them. So the answer I got is correct: 10 GBs are a rollover, so I can't gift them and the other 40GBs were just a useless freebie that I can't gift either! Wah! I'll know better next time!

Ya I know too bad u cant gift that free bonus data I'm sure there are alot of people that will clam it not needing it but oh well it would be cool if u could like pass it on to someone if u knew their email or something so they can claim it instead if u don't need it but u can't its a cool idea tho I wonder if they could do something with it I doubt it tho
