I have the option to upgrate to VoLTE, what's the difference?

Your call quality will be better since its will pass on 4g/LTE instead of 3g. Its important to upgrade to VoLTE if you can since next year 3g will gradualy be removed. Concretly what it mean is if your are not on VoLTE next year you might not be able to call anymore but your data will still work.

better connectivity. next year or so, carriers will start to phase out 3g and you will need volte to work.

6G is almost ready but we still don't have even 5G.

6g is realy far it will come out in 2030 in China. 5g here is still far from being fully deplayed they just started deploying standalone 5g this year.
