iphone 16 pro max stock

i have tried to order the new iphone 16 pro max, when i go to the page it says inventory is running low, then when i click to purchase its says " oh no, someone was faster and now this phone is out of stock"

my question is why is the stock tracking on the website so innacurate? its shows to different things and i also signed up to be notified when the phone came back in stock and have not received a single email, yet the website claims other people were faster than me and purchased one

    The phone shop was rolled out Canada-wide so my guess is that there are a lot of people trying to snag one.

    You might be waiting months for stock as Fizz is most likely already sending them out as soon as it arrives due to popular demand, on top of being a smaller carrier so they most likely aren't able to secure larger quantities like the big 3 telcos can.

    Black Friday is coming up as well so it might be a while.
