What happens when someone outside of my coverage area tries to call or text me?

I have BC coverage and was wondering if someone who is currently in Alberta for vacation would be able to text or call me? I am still in BC but they are not would they be able to reach me?

    Hi @bbreslin

    If you stay within your coverage area and have unlimited calls, you can receive calls from anyone, regardless of the country they are in. Incoming SMS with Fizz are always free. Yes, they will be able to reach you.

    Why not ? Anyone can call anyone, but they may have charges for the caller depending on the package they have. Just think of the fraud calls that come from everywhere.
