Phone plan change

My wife and I have a fizz plan, they are similar plan the only difference is my wife have 4gb/month and I have 2gb, she pays 25.52$ and I pay 32.52 / month. I want the same plan has my wife but I don't see it in my plan choice, how can I do it?

    The plans are modifying continuously so that you need to check all the time the available offers and chose one of them.

    Hi Mark123 thanks for your answer. I understand that the plan changes often but my question is how do you change plan, you have to activate a new plan with the same sim you have? What is the process to change plan?

    The plans are always changing. Keep up with the price changes and you will be ok

    Yes I did that but you can only make changes to parameters within you plan, if you see a cheaper plans it is not available to you with that method, how do you completely change plan for the cheaper plan. Do I have to cancel my actual plan and select a new one?

    you can only select from the current list of plans that fizz is offering at your location when you change a plan. you can see what is available here https://fizz.ca/en/mobile?ADDONS%5B0%5D=18&CVRG=108&DATA=101&PLAN=3&SMS=223&VOICE=90&WIZARD=mobile. . go into your account, on the left side plans, then manage plans and change plans (note, you can't change a plan within 4.5 days of the end of your payment cycle). when you select and confirm a new plan, the change will take place on your next cycle. you will not be able to change back to your old plan.

    Ok after playing around with the site, now I get it, you can reconfigure your plan, no sim change necessary if you want to change plan you have to order a new sim.

    If you end up needing a new SIM, it may be be easier and faster to get one from a retailer.

    Just to clarify: You don't need a new sim card to change your plan, you just have to modify it. But your choice will be between the offers available at the moment. Your wife's plan is not currantly available, with a new sim card or not. It may come back tho, often there are new offers end of August, beginning of September (new school year). You just have to check what is available on a regular basis, when you find what you want, you modify it within your current plan.

    Your a right my wife plan is not available anymore, I tried to change my plan to a different one and it is not available through the my plan change. You have to get a new sim card to change to an other plan, you can only do changes within your plan if you choose change your plan option. I just tried it. The new plan was not available through change my plan option.

    There aren't any exclusive plans for new members.

    Your wife joined Fizz earlier during intro pricing when data plans were cheaper.

    Fizz changes their plans occasionally so check back often to see if you can take advantage of a new price.

    Ok I will not go into argument but

    1. created my wife's plan 3 years after I created mine so she had Not a intro entry price,
    2. I never talk about exclusive plan for new members
    3. My original question was how do I access cheaper new plans without changing my sim card
    4. All if my interrogations where answered
    5. If anybody tells me he can access to a new plans through change my plan option provide screen shots.

    I took screen shots to compare with the plan I have. Right now, they offer 6Gb, Québec, for 26$:

    Now, if I wanted to chage my currant plan for this one, it would be possible:

    As you can see, that same price is there. Mine is better, so I will not change it, but I could do it if I wanted to. If you cannot access a window like this, with the same offers you see advertised, it could be that you are too close to the end of your cycle. All changes must be made at least 4.5 days before the renewal.

    I think we just have an misunderstanding, if you go through manage my plan like in the screen shot above you cannot change to an other plan you can only make changes within you plan, but to change plan you have to go through your method. Thanks for your screenshot and explanation.

    I only ca change parameters of my plans but I cannot change plan, maybe there is an other trick but I don't see it.

    I'm not using the mobile version but this is my.

    My current plan price is at the top. and then I have the option of selecting from the plans that are currently being offered in my province. The current price for 10G is $25 which is more expensive than when I started my plan.

    In your case it is strange because this is what I see as the current price for Quebec plan that gives 6G data. There is no option to select 4G of data like in your screenshot.

    Maybe contact support and ask them to look into it.

    Edit* if you adjust the data to 6G does the price change to 28/month?

    Haa maybe that's the difference, mobile browser vs laptop browser, i didn't think of that avenue. Thanks I ordered a new sim so I will change plan anyway thanks all for you great help and advice.
