Hi, I'm interested to by Oneplus 12. I'm aware about the stop of 3G network next year and the fact that Fizz don't care about phones they are not selling but I really want this phone , I'll just change provider at that moment, and maybe fizz is going to get sue for that anti-competitive trick.

My question is : I already have a Volte Sim, will my 3g and LTE will work as asual until next year or im going to need the old SIM for that phone? Thank you!

I was using OnePlus-7T with Fizz without any issue in the past. The thing is that OnePlus phones are not VoLTE certified by Fizz and 99,9% they will not be.

For now you will not be able to make HD calls (it will go through 3G) in Canada and you will not be able to use it in USA for calls (SMS and data should be fine).

Rumors are that 3G will be phased out by the end of 2025 in Canada and after that you will not be able to use your phone with Fizz.

those should work. calling will fall back to 3g and not volte. Also, in the US, you will have no data/call

I'm looking at the frequency bands it supports and it was manufactured within the last 5 years.

It ticks the boxes for the frequencies and it should work on Fizz's network.

The only way to be sure is to put it into phone and try it to see if it works.

I recommend using the search bar and looking up your model. There may be other users who have shared their experience trying it out on Fizz. Good luck!
