Roaming in UK, iMessage not working? (All other data OK)

Hi,

Currently roaming in the UK, set up the add-on ahead of time and everything is going OK... EXCEPT iMessage!

I seem to be unable to send/receive iMessage texts (i.e., to another iPhone - *not* SMS)

All other data is working fine... Does anyone know how to resolve this issue?

    try to reboot the phone or select a different network operator

    Yesterday I add a problem sending mms

    Be sure your iMessages settings are set to send from an email address and not a phone number. Similarly, ensure those sending you iMessages are sending to an email address that you use for iMessages.

    I had a similar problem, it can be difficult to keep old threads going. The best thing to do it set your iMessage settings to use your email address as its primary, and then start new threads with people, being sure to use their email addresses that they use for iMessage?

    This way you will ensure that the iMessages go out on data and not fail trying to go out on the sms network.
