Your phone is too old to be used with Fizz because your phone doesn't support the correct frequencies that Fizz uses.

I am looking at the mobile frequencies your phone supports against the ones the Fizz FAQ notes and your phone lacks either the 1700mHz or 2100mHz frequency bands.

Your phone needs to support both frequency bands but the Fizz FAQ mentions you need to have both.

Did you check the APN configuration? Probably you should enter manually https://fizz.ca/en/faq/what-are-fizz-network-settings-apn
