Hello, will be travelling to the US, will purchase us data add on but for it to work do I need to activate roaming?

Also is textnow an actual option for making calls while in the us?

    Have you considered upgrading to a Canada / USA plan?
    I might be worth it as the add on can be expensive compared to the plan upgrade.
    I believe it only adds 4.00 a month.
    Keep in mind you can’t go back to your old plan/price once you switch and you just activate a certain number of days/billing cycle ahead of time
