. What service does fizz use in USA and how is the signal? I do a few trips to California every month so need a solid plan.

It depends of where you are. It uses AT&T, Verizon, and T-Mobile. All work perfectly fine!

The service is 4G LTE. The network will vary depending on your location (as mentioned by @Jess_i88b6 ).

Very important, in order to use your phone it must be VOLTE (Voice Over LTE) capable.
