When will Fizz increase the maximum data limit for mobile plans in Manitoba? Other provinces have plans with more than 10GB, but Manitoba's plans are capped at 10GB. Can we expect an increase in data options for Manitoba soon?

    I think Fizz Mobile won't increase the maximum data limit for mobile plans in Manitoba at the moment because of the MVNO rates set by the CRTC. Their parent company, Quebecor, even made a press release about it. According to the press release:

    Since this decision will increase our costs considerably, making our operations unprofitable, we will be forced to reconsider our pricing and our expansion into some regions of Canada. For example, we have no choice but to suspend the launch of data-rich plans in Manitoba, just as we were preparing to offer our services there.

    Don't know but Fizz keeps changing their offerings. Just keep checking often.

    As popfizz mentioned, it's not something they can circumvent. Provinces have different regulations they must comply with.
