internet speed

hello,

i installed the home internet yesterday (self installation). i took the 400/50mbs plan. since the installation i keep testing the internet speed and i could barely reach 40/30mbs. is this normal? i used the fizz app to test the speed from my phone (on wifi network) as well as other apps. results are similar.

    No this is not normal since the speed you get from the Fizz app is the speed from the modem, and this must be 400/50 (~5 % more) contact the support to check the signal, probable you have same cable problem and they need to send a Videotron Tech

    • Wait 3 seconds for the green bubble with a '❔' appears at the bottom right of the browser, if you use a phone you must use it in desktop or horizontal mode
