Hello,

May I use my fizz nano SIM into a battery powered mobile hotspot device to share internet with all my devices? If the device use band IV?

I’m award that I can use a cheap Android phone and enable the tethering but the only issues is I’m getting all those annoying “Canadian in-alert” notifications that we can’t opt-out and this is: 1. drive me crazy because of the noise it mades, it sounds like if you where stabbing an accordion. And 2. According to the “Canada's Anti-Spam Legislation”, they should allow us to opt-out and they should also ask us if we want this notification or not at first. Other countries are doing it. Anyway that is not the point…

I must find another solution to get mobile internet access which is not a smart phone to be able to block these nuisances.

Thanks in advance for answers, I appreciate. :-)

Guillaume

    Hello Guillaume,

As a fellow Fizz customer, yes, you can use your Fizz nano SIM in a battery-powered mobile hotspot device as long as the device supports band IV, which is compatible with Fizz's network. This is a smart solution to avoid the inconvenience of constant emergency alerts on a smartphone. Using a dedicated mobile hotspot device should provide you with a seamless internet connection for your devices without the interruption of such notifications. Just ensure that the hotspot device you choose is compatible with Fizz's network specifications.

Hope this helps you find a more peaceful internet experience!
