I have an appointment for Fizz to install internet at my apartment. I have currently signed up for the no technician option. My understanding is that even with this option a tech still comes in and checks the wire to make sure it has a signal.

My concern is that my telecom box looks like the photo attached. Can anyone tell me if this is something the technician will be able to deal with when they show up? Ive never seen anything like this before... I thought it would just be a coaxial cable.

    Hi

    If you don't have the coaxial cable in your habitation, the modem will be deliver by a tech which will install the cable.

    If you have the coaxial cable, the modem will be delivered to you

    JHello Mikaylz,

    It's very simple: The technician will bring a modem. Your old system will no longer be needed. The modem works great in my home and I can easily connect all my devices to it via WiFi and RJ-45 cable. (I don't see your photo.)
