It's still going on, a friend got his 5 perks just last week. A lot of the official text about it is confusing, but what you need to do is very simple: find the Ilots wifi, connect, when it asks for a login say you have a new account and give it the same email that you have your Fizz account connected to. That's it. No need to bother with the pin they send you (though I can also confirm that reconnecting with the pin will not affect your ability to get the perks). About 2 weeks after that initial connection you'll get the perks, and an email telling you they're there.

I also don't know if it's been mentioned, but the perks are tradable. They'll sit on your account for 2 months, once you activate one the 1Gb of data will be available for 1 month.
