This makes total sense if you are using an older phone (as the email suggests) and you already have the SIM card with the lightning bolt on it. 👍️

therefore, as I wrote, people that don't have a certified phone register with Fizz have the possibility to get that message, now I don't know if everyone without a certified phone will get it
I will expect all of them they will get the message, but I cannot be sure

In theory if you use your Perk to buy a new phone now (and supposedly give it to your family member) and continue to use the old "non VoLTE certified phone by Fizz", you will probably get a new Perk in future 😁.

I bought a certified phone through fizz recently, but I'm not using it anymore... my current phone is not certified but still I did not receive the $100 discount... I hope this helps
