Question about procedure for moving - auto installation - coaxial cable present

Dear fizz colleagues,

I am moving this weekend. I currently have fizz 200 at my home The place I am moving too had a cablemodem before (with videotron....not fizz....does that matter?) including a a cablemodem coaxial cable.

1. Please confirm that this can be done without a technician.. My concern is that new appartment has a coaxial cable where there used to be a cablemodem with another provider than fizz. Does the technician plug something special in the cable box because it is FIZZ cablemodem or is simply having a coaxial cable in your living room sufficient.

I am moving this Saturday the 5th and will be sleeping in the new apartment on the 5th.

So I deally the internet should be shut off at the old place and be activated at the new place all on the 5th.

1. Is this possible given that I don't need a technician?
2. When should I fill out the MOVING form and make it official on the fizz site?

Should be working.

You can do your request already by specifying the date go to:

My plans > Manage plan > Moving my service

So if I make the request today i won't have the internet cut now? So my internet currently functioning at my current address will only shut down at my old place on the date of the move (5th)

I work from home and not having the internet would not be good,

It should be activated on the new place on the specific date of the request. Hopefully everything will be fine 🤞.

If the coaxial cable is still connected, you can bring your modem and connect from the first moment you enter

However, you still need to make the moving procedure, the moving procedure you need to do as soon as possible and schedule the date for the 5th (if that is your day)
