Slow 4G speeds after changing to new SIM

A week ago I changed to a new SIM because I received an email mentioning that there is an improvement to the network regarding LTE and VoLTE upgrades. Since changing my SIM, the internet speeds are (although consistent) much lower than on my previous SIM.

Is there a reason for this? is this intended or a bad SIM?

Old SIM: download 138Mbps, upload 26.5Mbps

New SIM: download 26Mbps, upload 27.6Mbps

    The new SIM should not make a difference in the speed.

    It can be a coincidence did you try the speed in different locations?

    however if you don’t use the phone in tethering to transfer huge file with 26mbsp you can watch a 4K video

    I did a test in 2 places 30 mins a part, one place 26Mbps and the second 96Mbps

    Yep, agreed, it shouldn't make a difference although I do know there is a one. But I've tried to take speed tests in different areas, outside and inside and although it doesn't go over 40 (which is the max I've gotten), it's stable and not an issue I guess.

    Did you test them in the same location and at the same time of the day?

    I did try this twice at 3 separate locations, but not on separate dates.
