VoLTE date?
Hi,
I have a OnePlus 5. I received today an email saying that I need to change my phone to one that is VoLTE compatible, but there's no date on the email saying when I need to change.
Does anyone know?

That is interesting! I have a phone that is not VoLTE compatible but never received any e-mail. Do you have a Canada/US plan? We will need a VoLTE compatible phone for being able to make phone calls in the US because most networks there are VoLTE. I guess Canada will soon follow.

I would be curious to know why Fizz sent out this e-mail to certain users but not everyone with a non-compatible phone.

for the moment only the united states which no longer have 3g
for canada we have no date for the end of 3g
anyway it was announced to the mouvel one day for when the end of 3g for canada

you can do a test deactivated the wifi passed a call if it remains in lte it is who is volte

At the moment there is not a date from dropping the 3G in CanadA. However the 5 is pretty old (for a smartphone) also Verizon suggest a oneplus8 or greater
thwrefore if you don’t plan to use your phone to travel in USA yiu can still wait

They say 3G is going away next year and it doesn't look like my Galaxy 9S has VoLTE. I wasn't planning to change phones until the battery stopped keeping a decent charge. Sucks for me I guess.
