Want to give away bonus data 500 MB but don't know how to do it

Can someone explain to me how I can give away 500 MB of bonus data that expires in 7 days? I don't need the data. When I try to give it away, I only have access to 2 family members and they don't need the data.

If that Perk is giftable, you can add another person as a friend or contact and gift it to him/her.

Thanks to all of you, I could not find any friends who were on Fizz to add them as contacts so I added the 500MB to my plan and now I figure I can give date away using the referral code. Does that make sense?
