Hi @Carmelo
Non
You need to change the plan minimum 4.5 days before the next billing cycle and wait the renewal of your plan
Important: A freeze period is in effect 108 hours (4.5 days) before the end of your payment cycle, during which time no changes can be made to your plan.
Important: Any change to your plan must therefore be submitted 108 hours (4.5 days) before the end of your payment cycle to come into effect at the beginning of your next payment cycle. Not respecting this delay means changing your plan will be impossible and you will have to wait for the next payment cycle.

If you don't have time, you have some options
- Buy an addon for each service (voice, data and SMS)
- Put money in the FIzz's wallet (pay as you go) more expensive than an addon (but you pay per usage)
For the voice, please check if you can use in the USA
- Disable the wifi
- make a call
- check if the signal stay in LTE

Please consider a add-on ( Wich is effective immediately! )

Yes it's probably too late for you to adjust your plan. But the travel data add-on isnt too expensive if you are looking for emergency internet. It's $5 for 500MB, that's enough for basic internet (don't watch youtube with it).
But you might have to choose between texting, calling, or data. Although I believe you can combine them? I have never done that.
You could also consider another option : buy a prepaid simcard in the US, as it can be something like CAD 35 for 30 days with data and calls. But you will only be there for the weekend right? Surely, the travel options might be enough?

For a weekend, you should put money in the wallet

Helle @Carmelo
Add on is your first choice. If it is to costly for you, buy a US sim card and a plan that fit your needs.

Unfortunately you cannot change right away but only for the next billing cycle... However, you can buy a travel add-on or put some money in your wallet and pay-per-use
