You should have a bonus from Fizz for the data
apply to your plan, but you need to wait the next billing cycle to have the activated
but you should also have a perks from Fizz this will be activated on the spot

SMS and MMS both mean texting. Each allows you to send messages between two or more mobile devices or computers. The difference between SMS and MMS is that MMS supports longer messages and multimedia content including images, videos, and gifs.
With Fizz you need data to use MMS and yes MMS does use your data.
If you have a plan with data and unlimited texts there is no extra cost for MMS service.
You can clarify with support maybe.

The Mass SMS is a SMS send to multiple person such a bcc, a group SMS is send as to (compare to email)
Therefore, with mass SMS is like you send the message to multiple people, but no one know the other, if the reply they reply only to you
the group sms when they reply to the group
But I don't like SMS and I can be wrong

ok thanks, are you able to send messages to multiple people via either mms or sms?

I do, sometimes I send group SMS

I guess the limitation could come from the devices (maybe!) Android vs iPhone (i might be wrong), and also from the updates of the devices )

iPhone with iMessage is different story if in your group you have all people with iPhone (iMessage is a different animal)
Like I said
If you want to use a group sms to send message to all your family (for example) and when someone reply, the reply goes to everyone in the group you need data
If you want to send SMS to multiple destinations, but when they reply the reply goes only to you, you don't need data. Since for the person which received the SMS for me it was only send to him

I am on Android, just adding my contacts to the recipient list and it works like a charm.

in reality it should work the worst it just won't work zero surprises with fizz zero fees

I mean... you could just disable mobile data on your phone and give it a try to see if a group message can be delivered...
