    Hi @Tarek

it means that you can use your phone as in quebec

if you have unlimited calls you can call in Canada and USA when you are in Canada and USA and are included

you can use the data in your plan and send sms if you have unlimited text

however for the calls you must have a certified phone and your plan must be on VoLTE

you can check if your volte is working, disable the wifi, make a call and your phone must stay in LTE or 4g

if it switch to 3G we need to check other stuff check this article https://fizz.ca/en/faq/why-volte-important

    Hi Tarek,

you can roam in the US as well but please note certain restrictions. You must have a VoLTE enabled Sim card *which you probably have if you are a new member and your phone must be VoLTE certified. It also depends on the networks available in the US region you are travelling. But with a US/Canada plan, you can use at least your data which is already a big advantage.

As others said, you first need to know if you have VoLTE or not. You can do this test to find out if you don’t know:

Shut down your WiFi, make a call and see if your phone stays with LTE or if it goes back to 3G. If it stays with LTE it means you have VoLTE.

If you don’t have VoLTE, you will be able to use your data in USA but as for the calls, you’ll have to force your phone to use 2G network to make calls.
