Travelling to Dominican Republic this summer
I am planning to go to Dominican Republic. Will I be able to call?

With Fizz's plan, you can only make calls within Canada and the USA at the moment.
You can use an app like Fongo, TextNow, or similar ones.
So, you can either purchase an addons for the data, add money to your wallet, or use the Wi-Fi at your hotel or residence.

Yes, you can if you have an add on:
Go to
My plans > Manage my plan > The Extras > Add-ons > International calls
From there Type “Dominican Republic”
You can select a Block of 60 minutes or pay as you go by adding funds to your wallet.

I read users to be able to use the phone in UK, France, Turkey etc, but that was a temporary problem with Fizz
