my home internet is down. The main wire outside connecting my home is cut. May be a few days before reconnect. I would like to ask the community if they have extra data to gift what they can so we can watch some tv at night. Thanks

PS: I have already seen people asking for data without having a data option. Please note that you must have a plan that includes data in order to receive data as a gift.

I do have a data option and was watching tv until Friday 11:59pm until fizz cancelled the free data.

Who can I send a gift to?
You can send a data gift to:
- Any Fizz customer who is findable in Contacts and has a data plan
- A complete stranger, as long as they are findable and have a Fizz data plan
You cannot send a data gift to:
- People who are not Fizz members
- Fizz members with no data plan
- Fizz members who have designated themselves incognito
Buying an Add-on or applying a perk or an upgrade allow you to add extra data to your plan, but that won’t give you the ability to gift or receive data. To gift or receive data, your plan must include data from the get-go.

Are these data from an actual plan or data that you received as gift or bonuses? Because when users try to send you data they receive an error message telling them that you do not have a plan with data.

I don't why they get an error message. I have a data plan I pay 35$ a month. Maybe you have to add me before sending

Big fight with the fizz chat. They are still charging me for home internet but my wire outside is cut. So not sure why they wouldn't up my data plan by a few gb. Videotron is doing it for customers who have both plans with them.
He tells me they don't have the resource's to do it. Whaaaaaaat
