I'm Fizz customer. Am I obligated to use a Fizz's router for my Internet to work ?

Yes you are obliged to use the modem with router functionality given by Fizz, however, you can configure in bridge mode and use your own router connected to the Fizz's modem.

I prefer to use my own router connected to the modem give from the provider, which will give me much more functionality and personalization.
