Hello! I got my plan in Canada but moved to the U.S. For the first three months, I was able to make calls without problems; however, this situation changed recently. I noticed two changes that happened simultaneously. First, I was with T-mobile but then suddenly I am now with AT&T, I am not sure though if Fizz made this change because I did not change my U.S. phone carrier, and 2) I am not able to make calls from the U.S. anymore. Also, not sure if these changes are linked. I would appreciate any feedback.

Hi, currently there is no 3G network in the USA. Fizz's partner networks are AT&T and T-Mobile. On T-Mobile it is still possible to make calls on the 2G network but not to use the data because this network is too slow.

And your comment is correct because Fizz limits the use of its roaming partner networks. It allows a period of 3 consecutive payment cycles after this period, it blocks access.

We reserve the right to interrupt or block access to our network of partner providers if you use your mobile service primarily on their networks for 3 consecutive payment periods.”

Subscribers who became members before March 16, 2022, cannot make or receive calls/texts while in the USA.

With your data, it is possible to use certain applications to make and receive calls and text messages: WhatsApp, Google Duo, Facetime and Messenger.

Hope this is useful to you.
