Why my international text cannot be received?
Hi,
I have a Quebec plan with unlimited text. I tried to send text to my oversea friend, he said he didn't receive it. But when he send me a text, I can receive it. Then I reply his text but he still cannot receive it. What's the problem behind that? Can anyone advise? Thanks.

Hi, if you have an unlimited texting plan, you should be able to text internationally with no problem.
Try putting the phone in airplane mode for a few minutes, this will force the phone to reset. For best texting results abroad, it is suggested to use the phone's native app and not a third-party app.
Check the network displayed in your phone, here is the procedure:
Android: Settings → Connections → Mobile networks → Network operators → Search for networks → Automatic/Fizz
iPhone: Settings → Carriers → Automatic/Fizz.
Also check if the SMSC number is correctly configured, perhaps following an update. The following sheet is very important:
“Make sure your phone is correctly configured for the Short Message Service Center (SMSC). The number configured in your phone must be: 1-438-520-0092.”

Are you sending the SMS using +number? for example, for french +33.....
I am using to send message in Europe without problems
