One month free internet perk is invalid?

I switched to fizz home internet because there is a promotion of one month free home internet. It said it will apply automatically on my second month payment. However, my internet has suspended and the perk of one month free internet is expired after being used in one day?? So I still need to pay for my second month internet. Is it a lie?? Help please!

    Hi Meihui, your request is not very clear to me. Even if you had a promotion, did you link your payment method to your plan? It is essential that you associate this package. It is the Fizz system that must apply the promotions whether on mobile or internet.

    Log into your Fizz account.

    Select the plan you wish to associate with a new card.

    Click on Manage plan > Payment method

    Select the payment method with which you'd like this plan to be associated with.

    Go check in your account if everything is correct for the credit/debit card and if it is associated with your internet plan. You will also receive an email giving you instructions on how to reactivate your account.

    The steps to catch up and pay for your package are the same whether your package is at risk of being suspended, or already suspended:

    Log in to your account on fizz.ca

    As soon as you log in, you should see a box with your package explaining what to do and the deadlines. *If you don't see the box, select the package in question to see this same information.

    Click the “Proceed to Payment” button and follow the on-screen steps. You can pay with the same payment method, or add a new one.

    Maybe payment delay? Normally they should pay you... It's like for the referral code it's automatic.

    Did you try to contact them via the chat?

    Thank you for answering guys! Yes my payment circle ends on 14th Oct, but yesterday I still can catch the internet and the one month free internet perk showed IN Use. So I thought it has already applied to my home internet plan. But today morning on 16th, the perk is expired and no internet. I am so confused because my payment method has been added when I paid my first time internet plan. So why the free one month internet perk doesn’t work? I haven’t contact fizz by chat since it is weekend.

    Hi, have you linked your payment method to your internet plan as already requested? Have you checked the situation in your account?

    If everything is correct in your account, contact customer service, go to this page: https://fizz.ca/en/faq/resolving-issues

    and simply scroll down until you see the green bubble with a question mark, to your right, click on it and then another click. You can chat with support. Chat is the faster way.
