Is it possible to receive calls from QC when abroad, with money in your wallet?
I'm planing a trip to the Caribbean and I have a medical appointment by phone planned during the trip. I'm wondering if it's possible, when you put money on your Fizz wallet, to receive calls from QC. Or alternatively, if I buy a pack of minutes for the country I'm traveling to?
I searched the forum for answers but nothing regarding receiving calls from QC while abroad.

Calls
You cannot make or receive calls if your plan doesn’t include minutes. In other words, if your plan only has data, and you have no funds in your wallet, it’ll be impossible for you to receive any call.
Calling from abroad (when outside your coverage area):

Please note that it is currently impossible to make or receive calls while roaming. As soon as a firm date is available, info will be detailed here. In the meantime, you can use data, and send/receive texts when you travel outside Canada and the U.S. To make and receive calls, you can use messaging apps such as WhatsApp or Messenger.

I would suggest setting up a call forwarding, and using an app like Fongo to receive the call via Wifi
Download Fongo phone app, select free 514 number
Setup call forward before you leave, any call sent to your cell -> forwards to the new Fongo number
When call is forwarded and you are on wifi , the fongo app will ring.
