I added USA and I cannot get through to my person.It says your call cannot go through please call again later. Now it wants me to buy an add on.
What is going on?
Please try restarting your phone and retry the call by dialing 1-area-code-number.
To test, you could try calling any company number in USA.

If you are currently in the USA, there are two methods for using your phone in the United States.

There are separate add-ons for each service (data, texts,...).
Know that officially at the moment, Fizz does not support calls or texts when you are in the United States.
Please be advised. As of July 2022, only the LTE data network will be available in the United States. You will not be able to make or receive calls and text messages.
Data coverage will not be affected.
For USA, the 3G component has been removed, so you will not be able to make/receive calls or send/receive SMS, but you can try switching your phone to 2G network mode as these calls work in some areas of the USA.
Some customers have reported that calls/texts are still functional while they are in the US. So it does appear to be working in some areas like where 2G or 3G network remain available.
As for coverage, the mobile data continues to work in the United States.
I am in Montreal. I added USA. It was active on Sept 12.

Please check the add-on on your Fizz account to ensure it remains active and that there are minutes remaining.
I did not buy an add on I bought USA.

By the way, did you purchase the USA travel add-on? This one is for use while one is in the USA.
I think you want to use the plan add-on for international calls to USA. Did you purchase this one?
So, Did you take a package with coverage that includes the Canada and United States? Is that what you see in your Fizz customer area? Are you sure the activation is on the 12th? This is not the maximum date you should order it?

If you changed your plan, this will work too. However the change is not effective immediately. For plan changes, you must wait until your plan renews.
It is not internationalal it is USA
It says coverage USA. It says minutes unlimited.
It was renewed on the 12th of sept. It has to be active.

If you subscribed to the Canada + USA plan, you should see your plan is activated by going to your account: OVERVIEW>> MANAGE.
That said you can call a landphone in the USA free of charge, I do it all the time. If you call a smartphone that doesn't have a voicemail, and isn't connected to the mobile network because his VoLTE doesn't work, I wonder if you we get any confirmation that the call works. I'm not sure.
