Hi there, trying to switch to Koodo and I used my IMEI initially however Fizz is claiming that it's not the IMEI they have on file (even though I received the txt from fizz asking to confirm I wanted to transfer my number, I replied YES).

My phone was lost on Aug 7th and replaced on Aug 9th so I'm thinking they have the old IMEI on file, even though I've been using my new phone for over a month now.

When I give Koodo my account number (8-digits) for the transfer, the response they get from Fizz is that the account number should be 12 digits.

Who can help me complete this?

In the my phone section, on the Fizz portal, which one do you see? The old one or the new one?

I'm pretty sure that the error for the 12 digits is not comming from Fizz, but from Koodo! Transfer departments are used to working with 12-digit numbers and insist a lot on having that. But at Fizz, it's 8 digits and it's even specified in their transfer document.

Insist a little with e Koodo. Quite certain that it is their department which manages the transfer which blocked...

If nothing works, you will have to talk to Fizz.
