Does a french debit card works (mastercard) ?

Hello ! When I put my debit card number to activate my SIM card, it tells me that it can't be taking into account. But my card is a mastercard, from France... Does it absolutely has to be from Canada ?

yeap, only Canada card. i remember that home address in the fizz profile has to match the address from bank file .....or something
