I moved to a different address, I requested the option for moving in manage plans yesterday, but they are telling me a technician would visit to check the connection. I cannot wait for them that long as I work from home. Anyway that I can setup the connection as I already see there is an existing cable in the apartment previously. Also my billing cycle just got renewed 4 days ago, if I unsubscribe from the plan, would they refund me for the remaining days.

If you have a working coaxial cable from videotron, you can connect your modem and this will work but you still need the technician visit
Yes if you unsiubscribe you will be refund
Good to know: Based on the date you unsubscribe, you will receive a prorated refund for the monthly fee you paid based on the days left, if any, in your payment cycle. Once your modem is returned, please allow (approximately) 4-6 weeks to receive your refund.

Yes you can but you still need to plan the tech visit, otherwise one day videotron can decide to deconnect your cable since in their system nobody should use it
Therefore, you still need to follow the moving procedure!!
