You should be able to receive them, did you check if you have some blocked number configured in your phone?
The only options is to contact the support in order to have this issue investigated
You can chat in direct

• Wait 3 seconds for the green bubble with a '❔' appears at the bottom right of the browser, if you use a phone you must use it in desktop or horizontal mode
• Choose the option 💬 chat
• If the green bubble does not appear make sure your ad blocker is disabled, otherwise try with another browser.

Have you confirmed with the bank that they are able to send messages to Canadian numbers?
Do they put all the required numbers correctly for international numbers?
Has your number just been ported to Fizz?
Has it worked with another provider before?
Many services that send SMS for double authentication limit regional areas.

if your phone is from a South Africa cell provider you need ROAMING activated . If they charge you or not for that I dont know. Without Roaming activated you cant use a cell phone outside the mother network coverage

Did that but did not get satisfaction. I want to know if FIZZ does accept SMS from South Africa. I get SMS from all over the place but ... not my bank :(
