Why was my installation appointment scheduled in a 13hr time block?

I’ve been looking through comments and it seems that most people have their installation appointments within 5 hour time blocks. Why was mine scheduled as 7:30am-8:30pm? I may be incorrect but I haven’t seen anyone else assigned this. Is there a way to get a lessened time frame so my whole day isn’t spent waiting?

    When you select your installation window, there are full days and days divided into 3 (morning, afternoon or evening).

    If you choose a full day, you must be present for the whole day, otherwise you can select one of the shorter periods! You can still change your appointment, My plans, Home Internet, View Notification, My notifications, view my Appointments, reschedule.
