When will VoLTE be active?

My mom received her VoLTE SIM card yesterday. Activation was successful. Enabled VoLTE in her iPhone's settings, but calls are still in 3G. I assume Fizz has yet to activate VoLTE on their network. I recall reading September 2022 somewhere, but not sure if that is true and still the case. Any insider information?

    If this can give you some hope...

    Fizz is working hard to get VoLTE done before the end of this year. Everybody, let's be patient and wait. In the meantime, if you travel to the USA, prepare before you leave.

    VoLTE is not available yet with Fizz. We don't know yet when it will.

    I chatted with Customer Service today. They told me September 2022 was the initial date, but did not want to promise anything. Their exact message: We do not have an official release date yet, indeed the first date is for September however I do not want to make any promises and in the end not be true.
