Keep getting Get a new free SIM now because 3G will stop working.

I keep getting these e-mails from Fizz, even tho I am actually running on LTE/VoLTE. When I click their link, it just says that my account isn't eligible for a free 0$ SIM upgrade. What's up?

Should I just ignore these e-mails?

    What phone do you have? iPhone?

    Most people with the new Sim card can not yet access VoLTE.

    Hi

    If you are already using the SIM card pictured with the red lightning bolt, then you can ignore those emails because you already have the latest SIM card.


    Your SIM card connects your phone to the Fizz network now 3G and going to LTE. A VoLTE compatible SIM card is therefore required to stay ahead of the game. This SIM card shows a red lightning bolt icon. 

     Good to know: 

    • Any member who orders a SIM card today is ok. Their SIM card is already compatible with VoLTE. 
    • Same applies for a Fizz SIM card that was ordered after the month of September 2021. 

     

    For the other mobile members who currently have a 3G SIM card, Fizz will make sure that each of them gets a FREE VoLTE compatible SIM card. 

    • Each of these members will receive an invitation to order their free SIM card. This process will take place over several weeks, so don’t worry if you’re not part of the first batch. 
    • Once ordered, your new SIM card will arrive by regular mail within two weeks, along with the instructions to associate it with your Fizz mobile plan. Changing your SIM card for a VoLTE compatible one will not impact your plan or phone number. 
    • Good to know: To see the confirmation of your SIM card order, go under My parameters > Transaction history > All transactions.

    On the other hand, if you are using the older 3G SIM Card, then you should retry the link from the email to order your new SIM card.

    To retry, please logoff your Fizz account, clear your browser cache, reboot your device, and try again.

    Also make sure

    • no browser extension blocks its appearance (ad blocker or plugins like "NoScript").
    • to try in incognito mode
    • JavaScript is enabled
    • no VPN disables the rendering, some have pop-up/ad blockers
