manual access to voice mail from landline not working
Hi, I have set activated and set up my voice mail and it is working fine. However, I cannot access my voice mail from a landline phone. Whenever I dial 1-514-647-0999 and enter my phone number after prompt, I hear the message "that doesn't seem right." I tried entering with 1 and without. No success! Do I have to contact support or is there another trick? Thank you!

Calling from a landphone may be long distance calling. But the main point is you need dial tone to communicate with your voicemail. Make sure it's set ON on your landphone.
As I said, I tried it once on my landphone with dial tone , and it didn't work, and it adds phone charges ($0.10 per minute) in my case.
It's cheaper and easier to use SKYPE from your cellphone (3.1 cents per minute) if you intend to do it often.
